The Core Trio with Robert Boston
The Core Trio (Houston, TX) is Thomas Helton, bass, Seth Paynter, tenor sax, and Richard Cholokian, drums. In November of 2012 they invited pianist Robert Boston to record an improv session that resulted in two extended improvisations that Matthew Shipp described as "an improvisational dialogue of high level interplay, high concept, intense musicality and exquisite taste."
